15.4 Million Indonesians Expected to Travel Over Eid Holidays
This year, Minister for Transportation, Freddy Numberi, expects the number of people making the yearly trek to their respective hometowns over the Eid (Idul Fitri, or end of Fasting Month) holidays to reach 15.4 million people, up 14.14% compared to last year’s 14.8 million, reports Antara News.

New Lombok International Airport to be Inaugurated on 1 October 2011
The new Lombok International Airport, capable to receive wide-bodied aircraft like Airbus 330 and Boeing 767, is to be inaugurated by Indonesia’s President Yudhoyono on 1 October, said Governor of West Nusa Tenggara, M Zainul Majdi, as reported to Antara News.
